Although Majestic SEO does not currently offer a blanket “free trial” of its service, you can get quite a lot for free already. However, we do like to meet people face to face at conferences and if you make the effort to come and see us at a conference, we’ll try and make the effort to go the extra mile to get you trying Majestic’s paid services. (Though since a silver package only costs UK£30 per month, with no long term contracts, you might find it as well to just dive in.)
If you are coming to any of these conferences in the next few months, we plan to be there and will give a trial to any genuinely new customer who gives us their card.
BrightonSEO: UK September 9th.
Still waiting to see if I can get in here. Popular event, clearly. This late in the day, it will just be me, but I’ll still be networking!
BlueGlass: Tampa, Florida, USA September 26th 27th.
Majestic are Blue Sponsors of this event. We are not sure what to expect here… but it’s a pretty influential group of attendees and speakers.
Search Exchange: Charlotte, North Carolina, USA October 3rd – 5th.
Certainly speaking here and I seem to recall being allowed to set up a stand – but might revert to networking to save taking the exhibition on two planes as there is no direct flight over the Atlantic.
eMetrics: New York, USA October 18th – 20th
We have decided to be bronze sponsors here, including and exhibition stand.
IMC: New York, USA October 18th-20th
Since we are in the area, I have also been given the opportunity to do a presentation at the IMC. The topic is actually Social Search Tools, so will not focus directly on Majestic SEO, but if you are at the conference and can track me down, I will be happy to give new customers a trial.
A4U: London, 18th & 19th October.
The astute amongst you will notice that this date clashes with two New York dates, so whilst I am in New York, we will still be able to demonstrate Majestic SEO via Receptional’s stand at A4U and a Majestic Ambassador will be promoting trials there.
Pubcon: Las Vegas, USA. November 7th-10th
We will be doing some major promotions at Pubcon this year. We will have a stand there for the first time in addition to sponsoring a special session dedicated to Majestic SEO. We also have a few freebies planned. Be at Pubcon if you can!
I hope to see you at an event soon.
Dixon Jones.

Hi
Im impressed with your site. I am considering your silver package to manage my seo campaigns (the first one I’ve set up on your site is for a fleet management company called Total Motion)
But because I’m comparing it to other sites to pay for all would be quite costly. Others such as SEOMoz offer a 30 day free trial – would I be able to get the same from you?
Thanks for your consideration and if not do you have any material to say why I should sign up with you rather than seomoz/opensiteexplorer?

Hi Terry,
September 21, 2011 at 10:08 amAs the post says – you need to find us in person at an event to get 30 day free trials. It’s SEOMoz’s choice to give away large amounts of processing time, but it is an expensive option open to abuse, so we don’t generally go there. This is one reason for our entry pricing considerably cheaper of course! Silver costs £29.99 a month (About US$50) compared to SEOMoz which starts at $99 a month. But buying either on price would be a mistake. Neither one has long term contracts – so you can try for a month and cancel if you wish. What are our strengths? We have larger historical index, our site is much faster and our fresh index is much fresher (updated every day, instead of every month). Three good reasons?
