In case you missed the announcement, Raven Internet Marketing Tools will be using our API to develop some cool new added value. Raventools provide a web based CRM style suite of tools that helps SEOs in particular manage their strategies. Developing relationships like this don’t happen overnight. You can’t just register on our site and get a license to build applications that fit into your own web based tools using our API unless you enter into a very significant contractual relationship and even though Raven knew exactly what they wanted to do with our API, the agreement has been months in the making – including transatlantic calls and meetings. They follow a couple of other organizations that have openly stated that they have made an agreement with us and I think it is safe to say that both of us are looking forward to the future.

What is really exciting is that Raven have announced that they may have an application for the API integrated into Raventools as early as next week. If so, they will be coming to market FAST! Of course, they already have a good reputation in the SEO world and got excellent publicity, I felt, out of their sponsorship of Pubcon last November. I don’t know what they’ll be developing, but I have been told they will have lots of things to develop at price points to suit everyone. so I’m as excited as you are.

That doesn’t mean that Majestic plans to hold up on its own web tools development! Far from it! In 2010 Majestic hopes to use Raven’s funding to make the toolset richer for everyone – partners and customers – and you will find us being incredibly active in this regard.

I can say with great certainty that the time it took to get our agreement in place was well worth it! We think you have incredible link intelligence data, and we believe it’s going to help us make our Internet marketing management tools even better.

We’re planning to launch two new tools that are closely tied to your data very soon. We think link builders using Raven will be very happy with what we’ve created 🙂

This should be a really interesting partnership. I really like both Raven and Majestic and feel that they both bring a lot to the table in terms of SEO. Can’t wait to see what they come up with!
