Majestic seems to be on a bit of a roll with new functionality so far in 2015.

Today I am pleased to announce that we have upgraded our Google Chrome link analyzer extension to embed Topical Trust Flow data in both the back links tab AND in the Anchor Text tab.

The screenshot at the top of the page shows the back links to Madonna, for example. One of our strongest links is from the artist page of PRS Guitars and this goes quite some way towards making Madonna’s site more about ‘People’ than ‘Music’. The Topical Trust Flow overall summary for the home page of http://www.madonna.com/ is Arts/People = 63 but Arts/Music is only 32. Ironically – that strongest link is about her guitarist, Monte Pittman.

Anyway… back to the new functionality…

The Anchor Text Tab also has Topic data.

Why is the Link Analyzer extension so Useful?

I like using the Extension for all sorts of reasons:

  • I especially use it to look at twitter profiles as I don’t believe follower counts or Klout scores are as good at understanding influence as Trust Flow is, so having Topics embedded in is an added bonus.
  • It provides a quick way you populate your Bucket list in Majestic, so you can easily add URLs as you surf the web, for analysis later.
  • It is also great for advertisers to quickly assess the possible impact of advertising on the page. If the links to it are relevant, then the audience is likely to be relevant.

Now over 40,000 installs

Nearly 40,000 users can't be wrong!

Unfortunately, you can’t please everyone.

We’ll take a score of nearly 5 stars from over 600 reviews. Thanks guys, enjoy the new upgrade.

What about the Firefox one?

We’ll look to upgrade that one soon, but the Firefox system takes a bit more work.

How do I get the latest version?

If you already have the extension installed:

In Chrome, without the “http” go to “chrome://extensions”, select developer mode and click update extensions now:
