Organising your backlink data needn’t be an uphill struggle. With the Bucket function, you can easily save important links to analyse later.

MajesticSEO Bucket

The MajesticSEO Link Bucket is what we think of as a link management suite. The Bucket allows you to collect and curate links of interest into a list to help you easily compare them in one place. Watch our short tutorial on how to get the best from your MajesticSEO account and use your Bucket effectively:

On any Majestic report you create, there is a Bucket icon next to the domain, allowing you to add that specific domain to your Bucket. And the list is easily accessible by the Bucket icon in the top right across the site.
Once you have built your list, click Select to choose all of the URLs in your Bucket, or select any subset you like independently.

After highlighting at least one domain, the icons to create Bulk Backlink, Backlink History, Standard & Advanced, Tracking and Site Comparator Reports all activate. Click on the icon for the report you wish to see for all of your selected domains.
Both the Backlink History and Site Comparator reports will only work when 1-5 domains are selected, and the Link Profile Fight only works for 2 domains at a time.
By selecting the Bulk Backlink Checker you can analyse all of these links independently and there is an option to export the file if you so wish.

Select up to five URLs to use the Backlink History tool and compare these domains over time. Note: this tool does not work at URL level, so any URLs will default to their root domain in the charts.

The Bucket allows you to create reports, Standard, Advanced or Tracking in bulk. Simply select the URLs you wish to run reports for and click the appropriate report type. You can create up to 100 reports at once provided your subscription allows that much analysis.

Last but not least, you can export a file in CSV format, the option located beneath the table on the right-hand side.

The video says it shows the backlink from the root domain. Is there no way to see the exact page the link is coming from?

Yes – you can take more URLS – also we report on links to inner page URLs. Try the free verson on a site you control and you will be surprised how deep the data is.

        Angela,
We have only found links to the home page of that site – but please use the support system for specific questions, not the blog comments. Thank you.
